At Parkview Dental Centre in Ipswich, we are pleased to provide dental veneers to improve the appearance of your smile.
Dental veneers are thin shells made of fine porcelain that fit over the teeth to mask imperfections.
Each dental veneer will be bespoke made for you, taking into consideration the shape and shade in order to achieve the smile of your dreams. The veneers will fit over your existing teeth to conceal flaws such as gaps, crooked and chipped teeth, and stubborn stains. We are able to use single or multiple dental veneers, depending on your requirements.
It is important to understand that a small amount of dental enamel will be removed in order to place dental veneers, which makes this treatment irreversible. Your dentist will explain the full procedure, as well as the treatment options available to you, such as composite bonding or teeth straightening, to help you make the right decision for your smile.

Dental veneer treatment is carefully planned so that we can create your perfect new smile.
During your initial cosmetic consultation, will listen to your aesthetic goals, provide expert advice and create a smile plan with you in mind.
Following your consultation, your dental veneer treatment will be made up of two appointments. During the first appointment, we will prepare the teeth ready for your veneers by removing a small amount of dental enamel from the surface of your teeth. We will place temporary veneers while your permanent ones are being created in our dental lab.
Your new porcelain veneers will take 14-21 days to be crafted by our expert lab technicians. When they are ready, you will come back in to have them fitted by your dentist – this is the exciting part! We will remove your temporary veneers and place your new ones so that you can check the overall look. We will not immediately permanently place the veneers in case you would like any adjustments made to the shape or shade of your new teeth. Once you are happy, we will permanently fit your new veneers.
Dental veneers are made from fine porcelain, which is strong, long lasting, and resistant to stains. With good care and maintenance you should be able to keep them for 15-20 years before replacements are required.
You can care for your dental veneers by brushing them with a fluoride toothpaste for two minutes, twice a day, and floss daily - in the same way as you would with natural teeth.
Dental veneers cannot be whitened with tooth whitening gel. If you would like your whiter teeth, a course of teeth whitening treatment is recommended prior to dental veneer treatment. Once you have achieved your desired shade, we can match your dental veneers to your natural teeth.
