During your hygiene appointment, your hygienist will carry out a scale and polish. This is where special tools are used to remove plaque that has built up on your teeth. Your teeth will then be polished for that super smooth feeling.
At Parkview Dental Centre we will always do our best to save a healthy tooth. However, sometimes tooth extraction is required if a severely decayed or damaged tooth cannot be restored, or if wisdom teeth are causing pain or problems.
The removal of a tooth requires expert care. Some teeth are easily extracted but most cases are not quite so straightforward. Every tooth extraction has the potential to become complex, which is why we have expert oral surgeons onsite to carry out all tooth removal procedures.
